Well it all started in the small town of Hastings Nebraska. I am an only child who grew up in a small family. My cousin Kelly(herman) and cousin Kim were like brother and sister to me. We were like three peas in a pod untill i got into highschool. I was to small for Basketball or football, and there were other guys just better than me. Kelly was a good athelete but KIM was the star and could have played Div 1 basketball if she so chose.
The capping games started when I was about 10 and i would see STORMAN (the uncle) call this guy on the phone and ask for the changes. I did not know what that ment at the time. When i was a freshman in highschool me and a friend started a book at school, Yes at school. Students would wager anywhere from a buck to five on a givin game. Chance and I cleaned house and soon we were sent to the office for what we were doing!!!That stopped the booking at school. Then we ventured to the local horse track on thursday afternoons (with doctors notes every week) and started to get to know the jockeys at the track. Soon they were giving us tips on who was going to run good and who was not going to run at all!!! This allso became very lucrative for Chance and Myself. Chance was a little more aggresive than myself and eventually got in some trouble with a local book and that scared me off the capping for a while till I got to college.
When Kelly got to be about 15 and I was 24 i noticed at Thanksgiving one year he was the one calling and asking for the changes instead of Norm. This is when we really statrted hitting it hard. Eventually kelly became a book annd I lost thousands to him. Figure that: Loseing to your cousin!!! Yikes!!! and that taught me a lot. He only booked for a year then quit and we decided to team up. I can remember one year taking the locals guys to the cleaners( BIGTIME LIKE 30 G'S.)
Now we are all grown up and I think we have learned a lot about this billion dollar a year business. College football is our main game with college basketball close behind, I did have a great Pro football season in 2005 hitting about 64%. We do know some WISE GUYS and some trainers with a couple teams(this allways helps) along with the information that we compile ourselves. I hope you enjoy the site, and the PICKS, and the humor. Hey it's free what more can you ask for....GOOD LUCK!!!!
Sincerely,
HUSKER TROY
